Yesterday Brunswick County had 756 tests administered so far.  Today that number is 762 tests administered so far.  On a positive note, 12 of the 24 cases have now recovered.  My fear is that 6 tests in a day is shockingly low given what is happening across the country.  Perhaps most won’t note the ridiculously low testing numbers, but I have seen the figure consistently drop and today seemed like a “wow” moment.  Maybe “Sunday” played a role here.  It is something to note moving forward.

The President and his Coronavirus Task Force continue to warn of a “dark” two weeks ahead.  In fact, it has even been compared to 9/11, Pearl Harbor and “the worst week yet”.  It seems inevitable at this point, but if we are blessed to be unaffected by the virus thus far let us continue to do our part and socially distance ourselves.

This week the news will be darker than usual, with many freighting stories and numbers.  If able, take the time to get some sunshine and distance yourself from the negativity.  It is an unfortunate reality, but we do not have to surround ourselves 24/7 with the madness.
